Excargo CEO Marcia Faschingbauer Elected to the Greater Houston Port Bureau’s Executive Board Committee

Excargo Services Inc. CEO Marcia Faschingbauer has been elected to serve on the executive board committee of the Greater Houston Port Bureau, a member-driven, nonprofit trade organization dedicated to the success of the port region. Faschingbauer has been a board director since 2015.

“The Houston Ship Channel is a special waterway that serves as an economic engine for our city, the state of Texas and the nation,” said Faschingbauer. “I am humbled by this nomination and look forward to working diligently with fellow maritime industry executives to further improve one of the world’s largest ports.”

The Greater Houston Port Bureau helps over 220 member companies work together to promote cooperation and efficiency within the maritime community by providing vessel information, port information, networking and advocacy.

With more than 40 years of experience in the industry, Faschingbauer founded Excargo Services, a transportation logistics company that provides expert intermodal, drayage, transloading and warehouse solutions for major importers and exporters to and from the Port of Houston and area rail terminals in Texas and the bordering states, in 1979. She is the past chair of the Texas Trucking Association and serves on the boards of the American Trucking Association, University of Houston Supply Chain Advisory Board and Mercury Chamber Orchestra. Faschingbauer graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and has completed executive programs at Rice University’s Jones School and Dartmouth’s Tuck Business School.
