Excargo CEO Featured in “Women in Supply Chain and Logistics” Magazine
Excargo President and CEO Marcia Faschingbauer was recently featured in “Women in Supply Chains and Logistics,” a special edition magazine highlighting the supply chain and logistics technology program at the University of Houston. The article entitled, “Women Leading the Charge,” includes the profiles of leading advocates in the transportation and trucking industry.
Faschingbauer grew her small trucking company into a large regional logistics firm. She is often called upon by other industries in the area, like the Port of Houston, for her knowledge and experience. Her expertise extends to Washington, D.C. where she has testified to Congress about trucking concerns.
Today, with more than 40 years in business and over 350 years of cumulative experience on staff, Excargo is known for its safety and service because of her leadership.
A native Houstonian, Faschingbauer is committed to the community. She is a past chair of the Texas Trucking Association and serves on the boards of the American Trucking Associations, Greater Houston Port Bureau and University of Houston Supply Chain Advisory Board. Faschingbauer graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and has completed executive programs at Rice University’s Jones School and Dartmouth’s Tuck Business School. In 2017, the Greater Houston East End Chamber of Commerce recognized her as a Small Business Hero, and in 2016, the Houston Business Journal honored her as a Women Who Mean Business finalist.
