DRIVER SELECTION CRITERIA:

An individual must meet the below minimum standards to be considered to lease to Excargo

1. Must be at least 25 years old and have a favorable work history and be Customs bondable.
2. Must have at least three years verifiable tractor trailer driving experience and at least one year intermodal driving experience in Houston --- both within the past four years.
3. Must possess a current Commercial Driver's License. The license must be photocopied and attached to the application.
4. Must be working legally in the US and be in compliance with INS regulations. The required identification is to be copied and attached to the W-9.
5. Must have no license suspensions.
6. Must have no more than three moving violations in the past three years and provide police reports on all accidents.
7. Must have had no preventable DOT accidents in preceding three years.
8. Must have none of the following on their record:
   • DWI or DUID
   • Reckless Driving
   • Hit and Run
   • Leaving the scene of an accident
   • Failure to report an accident
9. Must have enough command of written and spoken English to understand, communicate, and comply with all DOT, DPS, City, and corporate safety regulations as well as to perform in accordance with corporate and customer requirements.
10. Must complete in full the application including:
    • addresses for the past three years
    • places of work for the last ten years
    • accidents, descriptions, and traffic violations for the past three years
    • current telephone number
11. Must be completely DOT certified by Excargo even if currently certified.
12. Must be willing to participate in DOT required drug testing and be drug free.
13. Must take a back exam and be confirmed fit for driving work by our company doctor.
